Goodbye Winter, Hello Spring!!

So Spring has officially shown its face in DC. One of the biggest times of the year in DC is the Cherry Blossom Season. This past week was the Cherry Blossom Festival and holy cow there are a lot of people here!

A quick FYI- I apologize for not posting anything since.. November? Lots has changed. I am got a new job with Wyndham. It's the largest timeshare company in the world, I believe. I work at the brand new resort at the National Harbor right across the Woodrow Wilson bridge in Maryland. It's crazy how close all the states are around here. I live in Virginia, and go to work in Maryland and can jump on the metro to go to DC. I'm an in-house marketer/work with Member Services. The thing that I love about my job is that I get paid to serve people. It's pretty great because I love serving and meeting people. I must say this job has given me the opportunity to meet so many different types of people. It has made me come to love and appreciate people that are different than me; which was one of my reasons for moving out to DC in the first place. I give people some fun direction on different types of things to do while visiting us. Let's just say, you can never do everything here!

So anyway . . . after having awful snow storms hit us we are FINALLY getting some good sun and beautiful cherry blossoms. Yesterday was my first Friday off since I started working with Wyndham (downfall: I have to work every Friday & Saturday and sometimes Sundays). I went downtown DC to check out the cherry blossoms around the Tidal Basin. I met up with my friend Kraig Cooper. We also went to the Library of Congress and walked around the mall. Below are some pix from my experience. It was a great day off!!! I wish I had more of these :)
