The Spite House

Saturday my roommates Christina and Joceyln and I went to Old Town Alexandria. We ran into the cutest lady that works and is a member of Christ's Church which is where Robert E Lee and Washington use to go to church, I believe Churchill also went there when he came to visit... It was one of the only churches that was kept intact during the Civil War. Anyway this lady went off for I swear 20 plus minutes about the town and the church and history stuff. It was really interesting hearing about some cool things about Virginia.

This is a block that is made out of pebbles. Really annoying to drive on but it definetly makes you feel like you're living back in the olden days.

So anyway she told us about these houses that were built back in the day called "The Spite Houses". Basically people would pull their wagons inbetween the houses and would make indents in the bricks. So the owner of one of the houses decided to spite everyone and build a house 7 feet wide ha ha! So we had to go check it out.
